You got dental problems? You afraid of communicating with your dentist?
Here you go-~~~~~
So for the past few months I was struggling with my teeth problem. I was kinda nervous that i might not understand all those medical problems in Korean. But finally I found a dental clinic in Seoul which is pretty close to jamsil station. I made my 1st reservation through phone call. When I first went for my check up I realized everyone who works there are fluent in English. I was over the moon when I realized I don’t have to worry about not understanding what’s the exact problem and how to communicate with my dentist. Here dental clinic a little bit expensive but it’s good. I wanted to get my brackets on and I had few other teeth issues as well. So the 1st step was they took x-ray which cost 10$ because if here in Korea and you have health insurance. The X-ray will be covered by the insurance. Not all kind of treatment in dental clinic covered by health insurance but still some of them does. Such as, for extraction is cost around 14$ only if it’s not a cosmetic extraction. Cosmetic’s extraction costs around 50$ from the clinic I visit generally. And for overbite issues , if you wants to get your bracket on you have to pay around 2,900,000 Korean won or 3000$ almost. I did sign up for their promotion package so I got this price. They offered different types of brackets I personally choose the metal very old version of brackets. Last but not least, we all got afraid when living in a different country and almost everyone gave up on health checks up because of language barrier. But now as you know there are English speaking dental clinic and medical translator in hospitals. You should go and take advantage of your health insurance.
Stay happy and healthy.
